Follow these steps to add a new product for sale from the admin console:
1. Navigate to INVENTORY > Products
2. Click yellow button "+ Add Products" on top right side of page.
3. Check the box indicating that "Product is for Sale."
4. Name your product.
5. Enter the Security Deposit for your product.
6. Select the Category associated with your product.
7. Upload an image for your product by selecting "Browse File." Click Save.
8. Manually add a description for your product or type in the product name, make, and model, then select "Generate Description with AI."
9. Check boxes for the following, if desired:
a. Proof of Insurance Required: check box if customers are required to upload their proof of insurance in order to buy this product.
b. Damage Waiver: check box if you want to apply your damage waiver to the product. *Note: if you do not have a damage waiver, do not check box*
c. Is this product taxable? check box if you want to apply taxes to this product.
d. Do not show sale prices: check box if you want your sale prices hidden and prices to show as "contact for pricing."
e. Delivery Available: check box if you would like to offer delivery for the product. If you want the product to be pick-up only, keep the box unchecked.
f. Pick up In Store: check box if you would like your customers to have the option to pick up your products in store.
10. If using Global level delivery, leave the remaining delivery sections blank. If using Per Product Delivery, enter the Delivery Base Cost (one-way amount), number of Miles included in Delivery Base Cost, and Per Mile Cost for your product.
11. Under "Product Tracking," select Quantity from the dropdown menu if tracking by Quantity and Serial Units if your product will use a serial number and unit number.
12. Click "Save Changes," labeled in blue at the bottom of the page.
13. Now, "Product Units" and "Pricing" will be added as tabs on your product menu bar. Select "Product Units."
14. Add the quantity of sale items that you have in stock, if tracking by Quantity. Click "Save Changes."
15. If tracking by Serial Units, click the "Add" button and enter the product's unit number, serial number, purchase price (optional), and select the location your product will be available at. Then click "Save."
16. Select the Pricing tab from the tool bar. Then select the "+ Add Sale Price" button on the right.
17. The Add Sale Price module will open. You can add the sale price of the item to "Sale Price." Click "Save."
