This feature provides insight into missed rental opportunities. With this functionality, we can observe reasons as to why you might not be getting certain orders from specific customers. To get started:
1. Navigate to Orders > Create Missed Rental
2. Begin creating an order. Select a customer and add a product. Then, select “add to order.”
3. You won’t need to add payment information for this feature, so go ahead and “Create Order”
4. You will now see this “missed rental” purple status bar indicating that the reservation has become a missed opportunity and not a reservation request.
5. Next, navigate to Reports > Missed Rentals. Here is where you have a formal log of your missed reservations.
*Note: You can also add an existing order in reservation request to the missed rentals log by migrating from the original orders tab. To execute:
- Navigate back to Orders > Orders and select the 3 ellipses to the right of the order number you want to send over
Note: Make sure it is in “reservation request” status by using the scroll bar underneath all the orders to access the status column.
2. Select “Mark as Missed Order”
3. Next, you will have the option to add comments to this order. Once satisfied, hit “yes” to send this order into the missed rentals report!
4. You will now see your order under the missed rentals report.
