What is Boom & Bucket?
- Boom & Bucket is an online marketplace where you can easily buy and sell used heavy equipment. Whether you're looking to upgrade your machinery or sell equipment you no longer need, Boom & Bucket makes it simple to connect with buyers and sellers in the heavy equipment industry.
What the Integration provides:
📊 Real-Time Equipment Valuations
- You can now access current market valuations directly within the Quipli platform, enabling data-driven fleet management decisions.
🔄 Simplified Asset Disposal
- The integration allows you to list equipment for sale on Boom & Bucket's marketplace directly from Quipli, expanding your reach to potential buyers.
⚡ Consolidated Workflow
- You can now manage your fleet and handle sales processes from a single platform, increasing efficiency and reducing complexity.
Step 1: Enable Boom & Bucket Integration
- Navigate to the Settings tab in Quipli.
- Select the General Settings tab.
- Click on the Options tab.
- Scroll to the Boom and Bucket section.
- Choose Yes to activate the integration.

Ensure all settings are saved.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the "Save Changes" button.
Step 2: Enter Default Seller Information
This is an optional, but recommended feature that will save time by auto-filling your seller details for every item you list on Boom & Bucket.
- Below the Boom And Bucket Integration option, you will see a section to enter your Seller Information.
- Enter your default seller details in the provided fields:
- These details will auto-populate every time you list an item with Boom & Bucket.
Step 3: Save Changes
Ensure all settings are saved.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the "Save Changes" button.
Step 4: Add Product Details

Navigate to Inventory > Products
- Select the Product you want to list:
- For this example, we will look at a Rock Bucket Attachment - Under the General tab in the Products Setup page, scroll down to the Hour Tracking option:
- Select the checkbox to "Use hour tracking for this product"
- Scroll down to "Product Tracking" section, and ensure the product "Tracking Type" is "by Serial Unit."
Note: In order for a product to be listed on Boom & Bucket, it must be tracked by "Serial Unit." - After you have ensured that Hour Tracking is enabled, navigate to the "Product Units" tab on the Products Setup page:
- On the Product Units page, click the three dots on the product and choose “Edit”.
- Enter the Make/Model/Year/Machine Hours of the equipment.
- Click the Save button at the bottom of the form.
Step 5: List the Product on Boom & Bucket:
- After saving the product details, click the three dots on the Products Setup page to List on Boom and Bucket.
- Select “List on Boom and Bucket” from the dropdown menu

Fill Out Listing Details
- A new modal window will open where you can provide additional details for the listing.

Choose Highway Type: Select whether the equipment is On Highway or Off Highway.
- If On Highway, you’ll need to enter the mileage.

Enter Seller Information: Verify or update your seller information for this listing.
- If you prefer not to have default seller info from the general settings, this is where you would enter in a different seller.

Create the Listing
- Once all details are complete, click Create Listing.
- Your equipment will now be live on the Boom & Bucket marketplace!
- Once all details are complete, click Create Listing.
Track Market Values:
Once the Boom & Bucket integration is set up, market values for your equipment will automatically appear in the product's Product Units tab, as well as in your company's Product Units Report.
The Boom & Bucket Integration allows you to:
- Monitor Real-Time Valuations: Stay informed about the current market value of each unit in your fleet.
- Make Informed Decisions: Use this data to decide whether to retain, upgrade, or sell your equipment.
