This feature enables businesses to create custom/special pricing rules for certain days and/or specific pick-up/drop-off times based on product categories, often used to create flexible weekend pricing schemes. For instance, businesses can set rules such as making Sundays always be free, waiving charges for Friday afternoon durations if pick-up/rental start occurs after a specified time, or waiving charges for Monday morning durations if return/rental end occurs before a specified time.
Step By Step Instructions:
1. Go to Settings > General Settings.
2. Select the Pick Up & Drop Off tab.
3. Select the product category you want to apply special pricing to.
4. Select the day you want to apply special pricing to. For the selected day, you have the following options:
- Standard Rate Applies: The default setting. With this option selected, special pricing will not be applied to the selected day of the week.
- Always Free When Rental Duration is Less than 1 Week: This option configures the selected day to be free of charge as long as the rental duration is less than one week. If the rental duration is greater than one week, the system will charge your standard weekly rate.

Specify Time Period the Product Will be Free of Charge: This option allows you to configure either a pick-up/rental start time or return/rental end time that will be free of charge for the selected day.
- Pick-Up Time (Rental Start Time): To set up certain pick-up/rental start times to be free of charge, select the button next to "Specify time period the product will be free of charge,” check the box next to "Pick up time," and uncheck the box next to “Return time.” Next to “Pick up time,” enter the time you want the product to be free for the selected day if the pick up/rental start time occurs after. By doing this, any rental orders that start / are picked up after the specified time will not be charged for that day. For example, if you select “Pick up after 4:30 pm” on Friday, the system will calculate a $0 charge on Fridays for any rentals that start after 4:30 pm.
- Return Time (Rental End Time): To set up certain return/rental end times to be free of charge, select the button next to "Specify time period the product will be free of charge,” uncheck the box next to "Pick up time," and check the box next to “Return time.” Next to “Return time,” enter the time you want the product to be free for the selected day if the return/rental end time occurs before. By doing this, any rental orders that end / are returned before the specified time will not be charged for that day. For example, if you select “Return before 8:30 am” on Monday, the system will calculate a $0 charge on Mondays for any rentals that end before 8:30 am.
5. After setting up your day pricing configurations, click the Save button at the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
6. Be sure to complete steps 3-5 for all product categories you want your special pricing to apply to.
